The heirs of the poet Miguel Hernández Gilabert and Alicante Civic Commission for Recovery Historical Memory in the absence of self-government initiatives, state and other institutions, but next year will mark the centenary of his birth, have advocated the rehabilitation of the path of Miguel Hernández, that bypasses an unjustifiable death sentence in full force today, that was issued by a military court on January 18, 1940, have decided to promote the following actions:
1 Heirs of Miguel Hernández Gilabert, represented by his granddaughter Maria José Hernández Izquierdo, with the collaboration of Alicante Civic Commission for the Recovery of Historical Memory, filed a claim for compensation and personal recognition of the poet unjustly convicted.
2 º We also do the appropriate steps in order to review and annulment of the decision that the Board summarily 21,001 was imposed, so that their innocence is public, legal and officially recognized.
