Representatives Alicante Civic Commission welcomed this city of Alicante to the children of Captain Stanbrook Archibald Dickson.
yesterday morning in the Civic Commission received Alicante Dorothea Arnold Dickson and those who are sincerely appreciated the gesture of travel to Alicante to participate in the International Conference on the end of the civil war in our city.
Throughout the talk Enrique Cerdan Tato, Civic Committee member and City Official Chronicler, I explained the historical significance of those dramatic moments occurred in the port of Alicante and the value and appreciation that not only this city but the entire democratic Spain owes Captain Dickson and all Stanbrook legendary crew.
Dorothea and Arnold were excited and very grateful to all those who have maintained throughout these seventy years the memory of her father and hope to convey my thanks to your participation in the day of Sunday, March 29 in the event to be held in the port of Alicante.

The arrival in the city of the children of Archibald Dickson has been the result of hard work carried out by the Civic Committee of Alicante with the invaluable assistance of Paul AzorÃn Williams, collaboration we thank you most sincerely on the milestone history suggested by this visit and the bonds of friendship and gratitude to the Dickson family from it have emerged.
