Subject: dismissal of the board of the UNTyPP

Day Today, 14 November morning, members of the National Executive Committee of the National Union of Technical and Professional Petroleum (UNTyPP) were evicted from their places of work, by members of a paramilitary group that operates in all facilities Petroleos Mexicanos, known colloquially as "special" which is run by retired military. The reason for this outrage is that the March 18, technicians and professionals PEMEX we became a union called the National Union of Technical and Professional Petroleum (UNTyPP) to defend our rights and our industry.

On 21 August this year, Secretary General Mr. Didier Marquina UNION Cárdenas, appeared at the offices of Assistant Director Corporate Human Resources, Mr. Marco Antonio Murillo Soberanis, at the request of the . Mr. Murillo has accused members of the UNTyPP, of being disloyal to Petroleos Mexicanos, to find damage to our company. Dismissed our right of association, even that is enshrined in the Constitution of the United Mexican States, as well as in Article 2 of the Convention on Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, which was signed by our country, with mandatory for the Mexican government. Mr. Murillo pressured him to withdraw the application for registration that on April 29 did to the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, and that, as soon as possible and verbal, his knowledge did such withdrawal, with threat to think about her future and that of their children.

Today marks such threats. This action by the top management of Petroleos Mexicanos flagrantly violates art. 123 of the Constitution, the Federal Labour Law, the Convention 135 of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Convention on Workers' Representatives, 1971, signed by Mexico in its first article states "The representatives of workers in the undertaking shall enjoy effective protection against any act prejudicial to them, including dismissal, based on their capacity as representatives of workers, their activities as their union membership or participation in union activities, provided that they act in accordance with the laws, collective agreements or other jointly agreed arrangements. "

We are concerned and angry that executives of our company representatives to lay off workers to stop exercising a human right and constitutional. Doing so violates the commitment to recognize freedom of association that Petróleos Mexicanos established in January 2006 by signing the Global Compact promoted by the United Nations Organization (Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and recognition effective right to collective bargaining.).

is not the first time it happens, every time the technicians and professionals have formed a union, management of PEMEX dismisses the Executive Committee and key activists. That was in 1975 when the first union was formed in 1995 when we formed the National Association of Technical and Professional Petroleum (ANTyPP) in 2004 when we formed the National Union of Workers of Petroleum Industry Trust (UNTCIP) and when the National Union Workers of Petroleum Industry Trust (ONTCIP) had won his record in the Supreme Court.

This repressive approach by the Mexican Petroleum Directorate is not politics it deserves Petroleos Mexicanos, or its employees. Technicians and Professionals UNTyPP affiliates at all times have been conducted with integrity and honesty, have complied fully with its responsibilities throughout their working life and have always encouraged and put their commitment to a PEMEX efficient, effective, sustainable and respectful the environment, human rights and work for all workers.

As members of the Frente Mexicano Pro Derechos Humanos, we ask the dissemination of this flagrant violation of our labor and human rights

For National Union of Workers of Petroleum Industry Trust (UNTCIP)

Mr. Silvia Ramos Luna

President
